Hans R. Mühlemann Research Prize 2023

The Swiss Society of Periodontology (SSP) invites young dental scientists and clinicians to apply for the „Hans-R.-Mühlemann Research Prize 2023“.

The prize recognises original research in periodontology and related fields and is open to international competition. It consists of a cash prize of CHF 5,000 and a certificate.

Applicants should be young, active researchers or clinicians, such as graduate students, assistant professors or lecturers (department chairs and senior researchers in research leadership positions are not eligible).

Applicants must be first authors of unpublished original research. A scientific jury will select three to five manuscripts for presentation at the next SSP Annual Meeting in Baden, 14-15 September 2023.

Finalists will be invited to give a 15-minute research presentation on the material presented in the manuscript, followed by a 10-minute discussion. The winner will be selected on the basis of the quality of the manuscript, the oral presentation and the management of the discussion.

All invited finalists will receive a diploma, free registration, hotel accommodation for two nights and reimbursement of travel expenses up to CHF 500.
